In 1999 a club originated on Narrabeen Lake with 5 members and a borrowed outrigger canoe. It was founded on the enthusiasm, passion and love of the sport. One of the highlights in the beginning was accessing the ocean which required navigating through the notorious North Narrabeen surf break; this provided weekly excitement.
Our current training locations are throughout the Northern Beaches, Manly, Middle Harbour, Narrabeen, Pittwater. The club has worked to be a formidable force in New South Wales, breaking the Queensland domination of the sport.
As one of the original 3 clubs in New South Wales for outrigger canoeing, our knowledge is built from dedication to excellence over many years.
The club now has members travelling from across metropolitan Sydney to train, benefit from the variety of conditions and be a part of the strongest competitive club in Australia.
