Northern Beaches competed at national outrigger titles held at Port Stephens in a memorable weekend.


Taking home Gold in  the long Course : Open Women, Men’s 50 ,Open mixed & Master Mixed 

Short Course :  Open Mixed & Open Men

Triumphs were had by the Master Men and the Open Women's qualifying to represent Australia at the World Marathon Titles up at Mooloolaba for August 2019.

On a windy stiff drizzly southerly Saturday morning, the Northern Beaches Outrigger club created history by winning all divisions that were entered in Australia's largest and most prestigious outrigger race. This saw the Open Women's, Master Women's, Open Mixed and Master Men win gold in their categories. It was a fantastic accomplishment for the club and a great day of fierce international competition out there on Middle Harbour.

It was a tough day on the Hudson River for both the Open Women and Open Mixed crews with both crews taking out 2nd place. An event that won't be easily forgotten!

A fantastic weekend away at Mooloolaba seeing Northern Beaches come away with our most successful Aussie title haul. Taking out 1st place in Open Women, 2nd in Open Men, 2nd in Master Men, 1st in Open Mixed and 1st in Master Mixed.

NSW State Titles saw Northern Beaches take out both open divisions, men and women's. Well done to all who took part over the weekend.

Sydney Harbour Challenge for 2016 saw another successful club campaign, taking out 1st in the Master Men's division and 2nd in the Master Mixed division, results here.

Molokai (again!)

21 September 2014

Molokai take 2, the Open Women crew take another crack at the channel. The conditions were perfect for a run from Molokai to Oahu. The team achieved a top 10 finish completing the crossing in under 6 hours. An event that will that will be forever remembered. 

Gold Coast Cup 2014

Northern Beaches cleans up at the Gold Coast Cup for 2014. Two crews, Master Men and Open Mixed competed in the Iron division paddling 31km. The Open Women's crew competed in the 42km changes marathon and it was a rewarding victory. It was a great race between Queensland team Outrigger Australia where it was a battle to the finish line. Well done to all who participated that weekend!

Molokai Hoe - Master Men's

October 14, 2013

Northern Beaches Master Men crew have finished 3rd in the Masters Divison and 14th overall from a field of 99 in the 61st Moloka'i Hoe on October 13, 2013. They crossed the treacherous Ka'iwi Channel in 5hrs 34mins covering over 70kms

Northern Beaches Outrigger Canoe Club complete another successful campaign at the 2013 Clash of the Paddles regatta held on beauitful Hamilton Island. The Open Women, Open Mixed and Master Men's crew take out the title for the 16km Long Course Marathon and 42km Changes Marathon. See here for full results.

Northern Beaches competed in the National Outrigging Titles held by the Mooloolaba Outrigging Club and take home the National Long Course titles for Open Women, Master Men and Open Mixed for 2013.

Open Women's Molokai Campaign

September 23, 2012

The Open Womens crew successfully completed the 34th Na Wahine O Ke Kai race held on September 23, 2012. Exiting the Hale O Lono harbour proved challenging facing 15 to 20 foot waves breaking at the harbour mouth. The crew crossed the channel in 13th position from 71 crews.
